Breakfast at the hotel. The tour begins with a visit to the eastern part of San José, passing by Democracy Plaza and the National Museum, the Judicial Courts, Los Yoses, the San Pedro Mall, the Fountain of Hispanidad, and the Rodrigo Facio Campus of the University of Costa Rica. After passing by the capital's main attractions, we will arrive at the impressive Pre-Columbian Gold Museum and the beautiful National Theater. The tour then continues westward, passing by La Sabana Metropolitan Park, the Costa Rican Art Museum (the former control tower of San José's first International Airport), the National Gymnasium, the Comptroller General's Office, the Rohmoser residential area, the Apostolic Nunciature, the home of Nobel Peace Prize winner Oscar Arias Sánchez, Rohmoser Boulevard, and the Pavas neighborhood.
